Hi, I’m Katie (Pronouns: She/Her)
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I currently provide individual therapy and couples counseling via Telehealth for clients in Michigan. Always LGBTQIA+ allied.
I’ve been a therapist for 13 years, working in Illinois, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, California and Michigan. My past experience includes working in Chicago and Metro Detroit providing mental health and case management services to individuals facing various challenges such as poverty, homelessness, substance abuse, trauma and mental illness.
I have over 10 years working with active-duty service members and their families. Throughout my time as a therapist for the military, I provided suppoart in helping service members and their families cope with stress, relationship issues, trauma, anxiety, grief, depression, and other mental health challenges.
I’ve worked with children, parents, teachers and families at various child development centers, home & community settings and in schools.
I’ve worked as a domestic violence counselor, providing support, assistance, and education to victims and offenders of domestic violence.
My experience enables me to provide empathetic, effective and compassionate care to my clients.
